Environmental Education Programs

According to Federal Law No. 9,795/1999, environmental education is understood to be the processes through which the individual and the community build social values, knowledge, skills, attitudes and competences aimed at conserving the environment, as well as common of the people, essential to the healthy quality of life and its sustainability.

Companies, trade associations, public and private institutions can promote programs aimed at training workers, aiming at improving and effectively controlling the work environment, as well as the repercussions of the production process on the environment.

 

Actions and educational practices aimed at raising awareness of the community about environmental issues and their organization and participation in the defense of the quality of the environment can also be promoted.
